Led by the Esbart Català de Dansaires, the folk dance group that performs these festival dances
Hands-on and physical, with dancing and mock battles, so it suits kids who like to move more than sit and watch

About

Cavallets are the blue and red hobby horses that dance in Barcelona's festival processions. Dancers from the Esbart Català de Dansaires show kids how the small Cavallets are built inside, then let them put one on, move to festival music and act out the choreographed battles. Kids also meet the Cavallets Cotoners, figures that have danced for many years in the city's Seguici Popular.
