Is it on in 2026?

Accepted Answer

Not announced yet, but all of these spots have run for several Christmases. In 2025, Casa Seat ran November 22 to January 5, La Maquinista November 27 to January 6, Diagonal Mar December 6 to January 5, Poble Espanyol's Natalis on select days from November 29 to January 4, and Tibidabo had Santa December 20 to 24 and a royal page January 2 to 5. The pins show 2025 dates until 2026 is confirmed.

Do we need to book?

Only at Casa Seat, which is free but needs a slot booked online; in 2025 each wave of slots went fast, and kids under 2 did not need a ticket. La Maquinista and Diagonal Mar were first come, first served. Poble Espanyol needs a Natalis ticket, with letter delivery as a ticket option, and Tibidabo's Santa is inside the amusement park, so it needs a park ticket.

Santa or the Three Kings?

Both, one after the other. Santa usually receives kids until December 24; from about December 27 the same spots switch to one of the Kings (often Melchior) or a royal page. Catalan families traditionally get their main presents from the Kings on the morning of January 6.

When can we go?

Accepted Answer

In 2025, Casa Seat's Santa and King were in from 4pm to 8pm on weekdays, and 10am to 2pm and 4pm to 8pm on weekends and school holidays. Diagonal Mar ran 5pm to 9pm on weekdays, and 11am to 2pm and 4pm to 9pm on weekends. Tibidabo's Santa is there during park hours on his five days, which makes a full day out with the rides and the ice rink.

What should kids bring?

A letter (una carta) with their wish list, written or drawn. Handing it over in person is the heart of the visit, and a quick photo is usually allowed.
