The full corona of a full eclipse in 2018 was literally one of the most incredible things I've ever seen. Don't miss this!
On 12 August 2026, a total solar eclipse sweeps across northern Spain, with Barcelona experiencing a deep partial eclipse covering 99.7% of the Sun. The partial phase begins around 19:30 CEST, reaching maximum around 20:29 CEST with the Sun very low on the western horizon. ISO 12312-2 certified eclipse glasses are mandatory throughout. Families seeking totality can travel about an hour south to the Tarragona area, which lies in the path of totality for approximately one minute.
More family picks, Friday to Sunday.
