Can my 8-year-old go into the haunted passages?

Accepted Answer

No. La Isla Maldita, La Muerte Viva, Angkor, El Carnicero de Penitence and REC Experience all need kids to be at least 12 and with an adult, or 14 to go alone. For younger kids, Truco o Trato in the China area is the park's children's passage, and under 12s go through with an adult.

Is the park open every day during Halloween?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every day through November 15, opening at 10:30am. Most weekdays it closes at 6pm (7pm from October 26 to 30), Sundays at 7pm, and Saturdays at 11pm. It stays open until midnight on Saturday, October 31, and until 11pm on Sunday, October 11 and Sunday, November 1. Check portaventuraworld.com/horarios-calendario for your date before you book.

Question 3

Can we get there by train from Barcelona?

Accepted Answer

Yes. PortAventura World has its own Rodalies stop on the R17 and RT2 lines, and Rodalies sells park tickets with the round-trip train included. Works between Garraf and Sitges have an alternative transport plan between Barcelona and Sant Vicenç de Calders, so check Rodalies before you leave.

Where do the littlest kids spend the day?

Accepted Answer

SésamoAventura, where the Sesame Street characters put on "1, 2, 3... ¡Ya es Halloween!" and Oscar hosts "Cuidemos el Planeta". The Halloween Magic Bubble show in the Temple Màgic is another good stop for families.
