Can kids try circus skills themselves?

Yes. On Saturday and Sunday from 10:30am to noon the school patio (Pati escola) hosts open circus workshops run by Tub d'Assaig, where kids and parents try different circus skills together, plus a handmade wooden minigolf by Mumusic Circus. Both are free.

Which parts work best with younger kids?

Start with that Saturday or Sunday morning block, 10:30am to noon. For a show, the 5pm Les Noces de Títuro in the big top or the 6pm and 7pm outdoor shows at Esglésies de Sant Pere and Plaça Rector Homs end well before bedtime. The Mago Manu Show starts at 10:30pm or 11pm, so skip it with small kids.

Do we need to book ahead?

Only for the ticketed shows: Les Noces de Títuro, TROS and Melic (from 5 euros each) and the Mago Manu Show (10 euros). Book through the links on the official program page before you travel. The workshops, the minigolf, and the other shows have no ticket link, so treat them as drop-in.

How do we get there from Barcelona?

Take the FGC S1 from Plaça Catalunya to Terrassa Estació del Nord, then it is a short walk to the Sant Pere area. Within Terrassa, the organizer suggests bus lines 1, 3, 6, or 10 to the Creu Gran or Estació del Nord stops.

Terrassa Circus Festival brings circus into the streets, squares and small venues around the old Sant Pere area, with clowning, acrobatics, juggling, open family workshops and the festival gala.
