Name: Puppet Show in Turo Park
Start: 2026-05-09
End: 2026-05-09
Location: Turo Park

Question 1

How do we get to Turó Park and where do we park?

Accepted Answer

Turó Park is in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, about 20 minutes by metro from central Barcelona (take L3 or L6 to Lesseps, then walk 10 minutes uphill). Driving is possible but parking is tight in this residential neighborhood, so metro is easier.

Question 2

Is this show good for really young kids, or should we wait?

Accepted Answer

This is perfect for ages 3-7, when kids still love puppet shows and simple stories about birthdays. Younger toddlers might get restless during the 30-40 minute show, and older kids may find it a bit babyish. If your child loves puppets and stories, go for it; if they're already into chapter books, skip it.

Question 3

How long should we plan to stay?

Accepted Answer

The puppet show itself is probably 30-40 minutes, but arrive 10-15 minutes early to find a good spot and let kids settle. Plan for 1-1.5 hours total if you want to let them play in the park afterward.

Question 4

Are there bathrooms at Turó Park?

Accepted Answer

There is usually a bathroom at the small cafe in Turó Park, though this is often closed when the cafe is not yet open.

Question 5

Is this show in Catalan or Spanish, and will my kid understand it?

Accepted Answer

The show is in Catalan, but it's a puppet show with visual storytelling, so language isn't a huge barrier for young kids. They'll follow the action and emotions even if they don't catch every word. If your child speaks neither Catalan nor Spanish, they'll still enjoy the puppets and the birthday theme.
