• Weekend evening walks on Saturday and Sunday, meeting around 5-5:45pm and lasting 90 minutes to two hours
• Advance sign-up required via the spreadsheet on their site; a route leader WhatsApps the meeting point that day
• Ways to help beyond walking: prep sandwiches at home, or donate clean clothing, socks, and blankets

Esperança ("hope" in Catalan) is a volunteer-run charity that has fed the city's homeless community since 2013. On weekend evenings, small teams walk set routes through the old city, handing out homemade soup and sandwiches to around 150 people, all donated and prepared by volunteers. Families with teenagers can join a walk, prep food at home, or donate clothing.
