A dad from my kids' school sent me this one: "Hot tip for a day trip with a car from Barcelona. Awesome adventure park for all ages. I don't think my family has agreed on anything as much as we agreed this was super fun."
What you need to know
- Book a slot and bring cash. Weekend slots fill up, and the park prefers cash because card readers lose signal up in the forest
- Under-14s need a paying adult beside them on Esquirol, Guineu, the Zig-Zag zipline and the trampolines. Only Formiga lets you spot from the ground for free
- No drinking water anywhere in the park. Carry your own or buy it at the food truck. Circuits need closed flat shoes and shorts or trousers that cover the thighs
About
An adventure park in a Douglas fir forest above Arbúcies, where the Montseny meets the Guilleries. Kids pick a treetop circuit by height, from a low one with a small zipline to a long course ending on a double zipline 15 meters over the trees. Between circuits there is a maze of giant trampoline nets strung between the firs and a barefoot trail over sand, bark, stones and water.
