Is the square busy or quiet?

It is one of Gràcia's livelier squares, ringed with bars and restaurants, and gets busy on summer evenings.

Can you visit the Civil War air-raid shelter underneath?

Yes. A shelter was found under the square during 1995 works, and the Taller d'Història de Gràcia runs occasional guided visits, mainly around the Festes de Gràcia in August.

What's the nearest metro?

Fontana (L3) is about a 6-minute walk, and Joanic (L4) about 7 minutes.

About

A paved Gràcia square with a children's play area in the middle, set on reddish slabs and shaded by trees. A hopscotch mosaic laid into the ground in 1997 traces images from the neighborhood's festa major. Bars and restaurants ring the edges, so parents can grab a drink at a terrace while kids run around.
