What you need to know

  • Two weeks of events means you can pick specific days around your family's schedule.
  • The August 12 total eclipse is on the festa program: Salou sits by the totality path and runs eclipse talks, kids' science workshops, beach yoga and beach viewing as festival acts.
  • The big fireworks finale on August 15 gives younger kids a clear endpoint; the Nit del Foc fire run comes the Saturday before, on August 8.

About

Les Nits Daurades is Salou's summer festa major, filling the town center and seafront with two weeks of free concerts, parades, traditional dances and family shows from August 1 to 15. The 2026 program mixes sardanes, street parades with gegants (giant figures), a children's fire run and the Nit del Foc with magic shows, inflatables, water games, storytelling and craft workshops for kids at the Estació del Carrilet. New this year, the town has folded the August 12 total solar eclipse into the festa, with talks, science workshops, beach yoga and viewing from the beaches. Everything closes on August 15 with the Santa Maria del Mar sea procession and the Gran Castell de Focs fireworks over the seafront.
