Centre Municipal de Vela (Port Olímpic)

• Swimming required, every participant must be able to swim before getting on the water
• Summer Campus Olímpia runs in weekly blocks from late June to early September, rotating sailing, windsurf, kayak, paddle surf, bodyboard, and snorkel

The city's municipal sailing school sits on the Port Olímpic marina, built for the 1992 Olympic sailing events. Kids learn dinghy sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, and paddleboarding from qualified instructors, working up through the small Laser Pico and RS Zest boats. Summer Campus Olímpia weeks rotate eight water activities plus snorkeling and English, and there are year-round courses and children's parties.
