Known locally as 'la plaça del Tripi' for the surrealist Leandre Cristòfol sculpture at its apex, this triangular square near Plaça Reial is ringed by bars and restaurants with terrace seating. A small circular fenced playground in one corner suits toddlers and young children, and buskers and steady foot traffic keep it busy. It is grittier and louder than the Gràcia squares.
