Where are the kids' activities?

Mostly around the Adoberies area and Parc Jaume Balmes, which has a maze and a stage for puppet shows and storytelling. The workshop tents are in Parc de les Clotes, across from L'Atlàntida.

What is there to eat?

Plenty of taverns and food stalls: crepes, grilled ham, sandwiches, botifarra sausage and octopus. Stalls also sell cheese, cured meats, pastries and chocolate to take home.

Is there anything indoors?

The MEV (Museu d'Art Medieval) runs a family medieval painting workshop and themed visits, and a painter shows medieval tempera painting on wood in its lobby.

Vic's old town turns into a medieval village for the Mercat Medieval. More than 380 stalls line the streets with crafts, cheeses, cured meats and sweets, while artisans show old trades in action. Kids get workshops in medieval tents, animals to meet, puppet shows and storytelling, with drum bands and street performers roaming between them. It suits families happy to wander, snack and stop wherever a show starts.
