• Book by the day before. Entry is free, but the farm asks you to book at least a day ahead so it can get ready.
• No picnics. Food comes from the snack bar on site: drinks, burgers, hot dogs, pizza and desserts.
• Bumpy dirt track in. Free parking on the farm. With a low car, use the public car park opposite and walk up about 5 minutes.

Alella Green Tech is a hillside farm and vineyard above Alella, at Can Picard, run by a green-tech foundation. On weekends kids run free on a big grass field, meet the farm animals and drive small John Deere tractors. Add-on workshops go well past a usual farm visit: painting a seed vase to take home, building a wall with mud and straw, planting, or tending a robot garden.
