About
Barcelona's fire service runs this museum and prevention centre inside the Montjuïc fire station on Carrer de Lleida, a short walk from Plaça d'Espanya. Five sections walk kids through the vehicles, the station, the call centre, the firefighters and their gear, with around a thousand objects on display, from brass helmets to the Genoveva, a fire engine more than a century old. Family workshops and guided visits run regularly, so kids can feel like firefighters for a day (book ahead on the website). Entry is €2.50 for adults and free for anyone under 16, which makes it one of the cheapest indoor plans in the city.
