What you need to know

  • Metal tunnel-and-slide structure is the star, best for confident climbers; younger kids get a separate wooden swing-and-see-saw area
  • Hilltop mirador with a 360° view of the city, sea, Sagrada Família and Tibidabo, worth the climb
  • No kiosks or toilets inside, so bring water and snacks; the open areas get sunny by midday

About

Five hectares of Mediterranean woodland climb a 178-meter hill to a mirador overlooking the city, sea, Sagrada Família and Tibidabo. Two play areas sit below: a large metal tunnel-and-slide on sand for older kids, and gentler wooden swings and a see-saw for toddlers. Petanque courts, ping-pong tables, outdoor gym equipment and off-leash dog areas round it out.
