Do we need to be members to visit?

No, a single day pass at the door gets you in without joining the club. Passes are sold up to the pool's capacity and can't be reserved in advance, so come early and aim for a weekday in summer. Kids' courses and the squads are for members, and joining usually means going on a waiting list.

How young can children start swimming here?

Baby classes run from 4 to 23 months with one parent in the water. From age 2, children move into the Infantil learn-to-swim courses, and from there they can progress to the competitive squads. Alongside the 25-meter lap pool there is a shallower recreational pool, plus an indoor learning pool, suited to younger kids.

Is it open in winter?

Yes. The club is open year-round, with two indoor pools and a heated outdoor pool so swimming continues through the colder months.

A day pass is €16.49 for ages 11 and up, €8.85 for ages 4 to 10 and €4.69 for ages 0 to 3, plus €0.35 insurance. Membership has a waiting list, and monthly fees vary by age and plan (see cnab.cat).

About

A century-old swim club on Sant Sebastià beach with direct access to the sand, plus an indoor learn-to-swim pool for kids, so a family swim works in any weather. The pools are also listed as Piscina Sant Sebastià; it is the same place. Beyond the water there are padel courts, a gym, a spa, a poolside restaurant and a summer sports camp.
