How do we get there without a car?

It's about an hour north of the city. In summer Marineland runs a bus from Barcelona and nearby Costa Brava resorts; check the website's How to Get Here page for the current stops and timetable. By train, take the R1 line to Blanes or Malgrat de Mar, then a short taxi or local bus.

A 1-day gate ticket is €36 for adults, €26 for kids 5-10 and €16 for ages 3-4. Under 3 is free. Tickets are cheaper online, and the Family Pack (2+2) is €108. Shows and the water park are included.

Is it open year-round?

No, it's a summer water park, open roughly from late spring through mid-September. Check the website calendar before you go, as opening dates and daily hours change with the season.

What should we bring?

Swimsuits, towels, sunscreen, and water shoes for hot paving. There are lockers, a shop, and restaurants on site, and you can also bring a picnic.

Closed for the season. The park's site says see you next season. Ticket sellers list Sept 20 as the last day of 2026. The 2027 opening date isn't out yet.

What you need to know

Splash Tower is the 2026 headline ride, a multi-level structure with six slides at different drops
Children's Paradise and kids' pool keep under-7s busy with shallow water and small slides while big kids hit the thrill rides
Dolphin and sea lion shows run daily and are included in admission, so check the exhibition times when you arrive

About

A water park and marine zoo in one, with around a dozen slides from gentle kids' chutes to the dark 12-meter Black Hole and the new six-slide Splash Tower, plus a wave pool and the Children's Paradise splash area for little ones. Daily shows feature dolphins and sea lions, and there's a butterfly garden, shop, and restaurants on site.
