Is this worth going to if my kids are under 5?

Yes, but manage expectations. The workshops (mosaic-making, painting Gaudí works) work fine for 3+, and the model train ride on Saturday and Sunday is a hit with toddlers. Skip the vintage car parade on Sunday if your kid gets overwhelmed by crowds; it draws a lot of people. The food stalls and open-air setup mean you can bail early without feeling trapped.

How do we actually get there with a stroller?

Metro is easiest: take L3 or L5 to Diagonal station, then walk about 5 minutes to Bruc street where the main fair is. The central lane of Diagonal is also accessible but narrower. Street parking fills up fast on Saturday and Sunday, so if you're coming from outside the city, the metro beats driving.

About

The neighborhood's biggest celebration takes over Bruc street and Diagonal with the 22nd annual Eixample Street Festival, a weekend of stalls selling modernist treasures, costumes, and gourmet bites. Kids can make mosaics, paint mini Gaudís, and learn to juggle, while parades of dancing giants and big heads wind through the streets. Add guided architecture tours, live music, vintage cars, 19th-century trade demos, theater, cinema, and sports, all in honor of Gaudí on the 100th anniversary of his death. An only-in-Barcelona kind of weekend.
