Vigília de Corpus features dancing gegants (giants) and capgrossos (big heads) parading through the Gothic Quarter, followed by a ball de diables (demons dance) with pyrotechnics at Avinguda de la Catedral, and a correfoc (fire run) through the city streets. The evening includes bell ringing, fireworks, distribution of panoli (traditional anise seed cookies), and multiple parade routes connecting Plaça de Sant Jaume, Plaça del Pi, and Plaça de Santa Maria del Mar.
