Do we need to book activities in advance?

Most are free drop-ins you can join on the spot. A couple of specials, like the science escape room and the treasure-hunt game, have their own details in the festival program, so it is worth a skim before you go.

What if the weather turns?

Mid-April can be showery, but a big share of the stalls and shows are inside El Born's halls, so a wet spell won't wash out the day.

Is there enough for a 4-year-old, or is it aimed at older kids?

There is plenty for little ones. Hands-on stalls, storytelling and shows sit alongside the more technical activities pitched at older children and teens.
