What you need to know
- Easy to follow: visual puppetry and live music mean very young kids need no Catalan to keep up.
- Short show: about 40 minutes, which suits short attention spans.
- Free and outdoors: bring a blanket in case the grass is your seat.
About
Cacauet Teatre's puppet show with live music follows a rabbit who wakes up wanting sponge cake. Forest neighbors pitch in: a bear brings strawberries, a hedgehog a grain of anise, bees bring honey, and swallows, a snail and a centipede join in as they cook one together. Tabletop puppets and rhymed verse by Ramon Besora hold the attention of the very youngest.
