Name: World Cup Final: Spain vs Argentina on a Giant Seafront Screen
Start: 2026-07-19
End: 2026-07-19
Location: Plataforma Marina del Fòrum

Question 1

How early should we get there to find a decent spot?

Accepted Answer

Things kick off at 7pm, but if you want to be close to the screen without fighting crowds, aim for 6:15pm or 6:30pm. The Plataforma Marina is pretty big, so you won't be squeezed in, but the closer you want to be, the earlier you need to arrive. If you're happy watching from further back with the kids running around a bit, 8pm is still fine.

Question 2

What's the metro situation for getting home after the match ends?

Accepted Answer

TMB is running line 4 until 1am that night, so you've got plenty of time even if the match goes to extra time and penalties. El Maresme | Fòrum station is right there, and the walk from the Plataforma Marina is about 5 minutes. Just be ready for it to be packed with everyone else heading home at the same time.

Question 3

Can we bring snacks and drinks for the kids?

Accepted Answer

Yes, bring whatever you want in terms of food and non-alcoholic drinks, but leave the glass bottles and cans at home. Plastic bottles, juice boxes, sandwiches, fruit, all good. If you're coming for the 7pm start, bring dinner along too.

Question 4

Is this going to be too late for younger kids?

Accepted Answer

The match doesn't start until 9pm, so if your kids are usually asleep by then, this is a late night. The 7pm start with games and music might keep them entertained for a bit, but expect tired kids by kickoff. Older kids and teenagers will have a better time staying engaged the whole way through.
